What will be checked during my car's evaluation?

In order to provide you an offer that truly values your car, our car experts evaluate your car's condition based on a 200-point checklist. This checklist covers every aspect of your car from bodywork, lights, engine, undercarriage, tyres, interiors & electronics. After arriving at your specified home address on the date & time of your car's evaluation booking, our evaluator will require you to produce the car's Registration Certificate, and a photo identity proof (Driving License, Aadhar Card, Passport etc.) to establish the car's ownership before starting with your car's evaluation.

A brief overview of the parts covered during a Spinny evaluation is as follows -

• Bodywork:
  A visual inspection of the bodywork to ensure there are no major scratches or dents. The bodywork inspection also checks for any major repairs undertaken on the car that would indicate accidental damage.
  
  
• Lights:
  The functioning and condition of the headlights and taillights as well as the lights in the interior
  
  
• Engine Compartment:
  All individual components in the engine compartment to check the condition of the engine, battery, radiator etc. All fluids (engine oil, coolant etc.) are also checked to ensure the car has been maintained regularly.
  
  
• Undercarriage:
  For the undercarriage, our inspectors carry out a visual inspection to look for any accidental or rust damage that may be present on the axles, driveshaft, and the transmission box. A mechanical check of these very components by running the car and going through the gears to find any abnormal behavior or sounds.
  
  
• Tyres:
  The tyres are checked for even wear on all four tyres. The brakes are also checked to ensure their effectiveness and condition.
  
  
• Interior and Electronics:
  The condition of the upholstery is inspected for tears and comfort while at the front, the reclining and adjustment features of the front seats are evaluated. All electronics inside the car are checked to ensure proper functioning.

In addition to this, our evaluator also goes through the car's owner manual to see vehicle service history records and takes your latest insurance details. The entire evaluation process is usually completed in 45-60 minutes and based on your car's evaluation report, a final price will be offered to you. 

This price offered will be valid for a specific time period. Should you choose to sell your car to us at any time during the validity period of the offer, the promised amount will be transferred to your bank account instantly and your car can be delivered to one of our hubs or picked up from your home for a nominal fee.
